God never told us we had a free will.

That’s man’s idea.

God does give us a choice to either accept or reject HIM.

That is a FACT.

No it isn’t.

Rather, it’s man’s idea that we do not have free will (Marx in particular).
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: / That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

— Deuteronomy 30:19-20
Beings with no free will would never have choices set before them. Also, Jesus would never have had to die for the sins of humanity, if they had no free will to control their actions one way or another.

If we do not have free will, then what is the point of judgement day? On what will we be judged?
