The answer to the question is almost certainly no. Throughout the last 20 years people have predicted the end of the world and the imminent doing of Jesus. As you may know those predictions are all false. So nail biting and chicken little behavior is not going to change anything. Either we will see it or we will not. Interpreting events is subject to individual interpretation and has always been wrong.
Imminent doesn't mean setting a date.
It still is imminent even though He hasn't come yet.
Jesus said that no man knows the day or hour but He DID tell us to know the signs of the times and gave us what those were.
He wasn't wasting His breath telling us that.
