Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem
The Christian Practice of the Eucharist, or Communion, is a re-enactment of the Last Supper, which was a Passover Seder. Whatever Christian Tradition is followed in this Practice, it commemorates the Passover Sacrifice, as well as Christ's Own Death and Resurrection.
The First Passover separated out the Hebrews from the Egyptians, so that the Angel of Death would not slay the Firstborn of those who were eating the Seder with the Blood of the Lamb on their doorposts. It is where the term "Passover" comes from.
Paul enlarges upon this "separation" by stating boldly that the pagan gods are actually DEMONS, and that, if anyone partakes in pagan ceremonies, they are actually participating at the table of demons.
This was an extremely bold statement, considering that Paul was writing to a Church that was completely surrounded by a plethora of foreign gods, temples, statues, shrines, markets, oracles, and sacred groves!
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
This Symbol Represents Christians in The Middle East, who desperately need our Prayers.
Hallelujah and Amen
