I’d love to hear the story of such occurrence, having never heard of or seen it before. (Maybe some preacher made the lies up to defend his position against the one holy Catholic apostolic Church.)

I never met a Catholic who honored Mary instead of God. Mary is a portal to Jesus. It is healthy to honor that which reminds us of Jesus, and helps us to him. She brought us Jesus, for heaven’s sake!
