Yes, it appears that he is Karaite and not chrstian, although he does make presentations, grants interviews to them and talks funny. I'm skeptical, don't know one way or the other and won't say one way or another at this time (re. gossip and a time of difficulty in identifying souls). As for Karaites, it's difficult to believe that one could turn out to be Orthodox. But how much might one particular individual be able to see from study of Tanakh (re. Shaar Hayichud)? Might it be possible for such a person to agree with the sages?
