Many Orthodox rabbis, for good and understandable reasons, will avoid answering anyone who makes such a request. Some rabbis will agree to do so only if asked very nicely several times from a humble and unassuming perspective. Converting is a long, involved and very dedicated undertaking requiring often difficult life changes for anyone really wanting to do so.

Nehemia Gordon, the man in the video presentation referred to in the post above this thread, is a Karaite--very controversial from an Orthodox perspective (Karaites viewed as unorthodox/apostate).

Yes, that’s true. Karaite Jews believe oral Torah doesn’t take precedence over written Torah.

The point is if you want to know God’s instructions (sorry, I don’t hyphenate), then you read the Tanakh in the original Hebrew as any translation is subject to fitting some man made religious theology.

I don’t see why any Orthodox Jew would take issue with that.

To clarify, there is no need to convert. Just to follow the G-d of Israel. (including shunning any notion of a trinity.)
