Singer explained that, while that . . . the Vatican's statement is essentially meaningless since "Roman Catholics haven't evangelized Jews in 75 years."
Catholics haven't evangelized anyone in centuries (they're 100% against "proselytization," which is one reason they hate those "intolerant" Fundamentalist Protestants so much). It's an imitation Judaism, an ethnic religion whose means of survival is that Irish people reproduce sexually.
LOL!
Catholics do evangelize...And I was unaware that only Irish reproduce sexually. How do the rest of you do it? As for Catholicism being an imitation of Judaism, the Catholic Church has existed for longer than the current version of Judaism that sprung up in the wake of Christianity and sundry other events.
Zionist:
You take something to mean something and it means nothing. Yes, the Vatican Does not have a direct Commission or Congregation, like it did back in the day, with specific directives to evangelize similar to sending the Jesuits all over the world in the 16th and 17th centuries. So corporately, the Church does not target any one group. Evangelization does occur, but it is now more targeted at the local Church level. For example, in 2014, 41,920 Adults were Baptized into the Catholic Church from no religion. In addition, about 71,500 were baptized and received into Full communion into the Catholic Church. So that is 122,000 people in the U.S. alone. During that same year, there were about 700,000 infant or child baptisms, which would reflect Catholic parents having their children baptized. So about 1 in 8 of the new Catholics in 2014 would be the result of evangelization at some level, parish or Diocesan level.
These statistics can be easily found at the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops if you want to confirm them for yourself.
