The Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is volunteering to defend Trinity Catholic Hospitals after the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) sued the Hospitals in October for their refusal to perform abortions.
Trinity Health operates 86 facilities in 21 states.
According to thegatewaypundit.com,âAlliance Defending Freedom attorneys representing several pro-life, pro-womenâs organizations asked a federal court Wednesday to allow the groups to intervene in defense of a Catholic hospital system that the American Civil Liberties Union sued in October. The ACLU lawsuit is asking the court to force Trinity Health and its staff to commit abortions regardless of their religious and pro-life objections.â
The various organizations represented by ADF are Catholic Medical Association, Christian Medical and Dental Association, American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and Concerned Women for America.
âPatients should always have the freedom to choose a health care facility that respects life and to choose doctors who do not commit abortions,â stated ADF Senior Legal Counsel Matt Bowman.
ACLU is apparently supporting slavery
Good grief... How much more crap will normal (i.e. non-libtards) people take before there is a mass uprising and cleansing of the evil perversion of liberalism? Just unbelievable... every friggin’ day there is a new assault on decency and morality by this filth.
If you want an abortion don’t go to a catholic hospital. Accept the referral they provide to an alternate facility.
When the ACLU sues a muslim hospital, that will be worth a headline. This, not so much.
This is similar to suing a baker refusing to make a gay wedding cake. At some point our courts have to establish a reasonable doctrine rather than dishing out punishment for not being politically correct. If the same service is readily available elsewhere within a reasonable distance, then no harm, no foul. While it might cause a slight inconvenience, this is not worthy of damages. Are we to sue retail stores for running out of or not carrying an item and making us go to another store?
Religious Americans should take on the ACLU and drive it out of the Country. It can be done. While they are at it take CAIR with it.
The Anti Christian Living Union is at it again, I guess. Their motto, “NO American should have to freedom to live up to their moral, ethical and religious beliefs.”
I’ve been too wrapped up the this NFL season. Someone tell me when the FIRST Amendment was repealed. I miss the news that day.
Sue a Flower Shop because they don’t repair cars
Neither shall the ACLU.
Waiting for ACLU to sue Planned Parenthood for failing to perform mammograms.
We all knew this was next on the agenda. I’m sure coming soon will be suing the Catholic Church for not performing gay marriages and suing to take the language out of the bible against homosexuality.

Uh oh. We might end up with some Protestants cheering for the Catholics and the pope on this site.
That would be wonderful to see. We have more in common than most people are led to believe.
I believe that wholeheartedly. Too bad the virulent Catholic Church/Pope haters won't.
Even if you post 1000 things that we had in common there would inevitably be that same ole screed.
I never could figure out why ANY Protestant, of whichever denomination, would give a rat's patootie care about ANYTHING the Pope/Catholic Church said or did.
WHY would they care? They [Pope/Catholic Church] have NOTHING to do with ANYthing Protestant.
Methinks the lady they protest too much.

At slaves are alive.
Expect to see the ACLU suing the Catholic Church as an institution for refusing to convert to islam.
Correction: At least slaves are alive!
