Now it’s Jehavahs Witless and mormons that do that.
I saw, was witness to, and heard those that sat in a megachurch on Long Island, NY, for 8 years always be reminded that their ‘field’ was right outside the church entrance doors. Did they? No. They were more satisified with sending folks outside the country, and supporting them, than going the two blocks to the nearest homes, and working out from there. I asked the entire ‘30’s singles’ group if they ever thought to go to the veterans in the Northport V.A. hospital. Their answer, to a soul, was:
“We can’t do that! They are crazy and we might get hurt!” So secure in the field of snakes, they were!
So, double standard? Maybe, from your P.O.V. From mine, whether it is because if they don’t, somethiing befalls them, but they GO, whereas these tongue talking armor of god folks, who had no threat against them if they did not go, did not.
