All of those secular atheists won’t like it very much when islam replaces not only Christianity, but their local church. Then, once civilized countries will end up like Afghanistan, or even Pakistan, where fear will rule the day, and Christians will live in constant danger. And, unlike Christianity, with islam the atheists will find out we weren’t lying about “convert or die” when it comes to islam.

The impetus came from the actual defeat of the second Superpower by the Afghan mujahideen and the opening of the door to the students of the Saudi-funded madrassas to take over and become the government of Afghanistan, which gave the Taliban the illusion that their holy-warriorhood was some sort of swift-flashing Sword of God, whereafter they began to take themselves seriously as God's Army, and Osama Bin Laden to fancy himself a better candidate for the title of Guardian of the Shrine Cities of Arabia than the rich, corrupt, cynical Wahhabists of the Saudi dynasty.
Since 1990, this has all been about OBL's drive to expel the Saudis from Mecca and the kufr from the Hijaz. Not that OBL or his votaries ever had a right to deny the right to travel or work to Europeans ..... it's just their cranky-ass Islam that provokes them to say stuff like that, while the reality is that nothing would get done in the Kingdom without armies of foreign workers from 50 countries to do it.
