the Bible records some past violence (much of which is nearly 3000 years old, some of which was at the time commanded by God yes)

but

the Bible does not preach a general hatred for other people like the Koran does

and the Bible does not teach violent terrorist murders, rapes, invasions, bombings against Christians, Jews, Hundus, and other ‘infidels’ like the Koran and Hadith and many Moslem preachers do

it is almost 180 degrees opposite

One teaches respect and love of others as much as possible, the other teaches disrespect, hatred, invastion, subjugation, and murder of others a lot

God versus Satan, if you will

day and night

When Israel was passing through the other nations, it asked permission to do first and promised to stay on the highways and byways without taking anything from that nation. Offhand, and I certainly could be wrong, but I don’t know of any nations God told Israel to destroy that it wasn’t already at war with, a war the other nation started.

“What were those nations doing that they deserved invasion and annihilation?”

And iirc, God gave them 400 years to change their ways. (While the Jews “waited” in Egypt.)

Straight from the horse’s ass. Remember Islam is a religion of PEACE

Here’s a small sampling of directives from the one and only Quran, which Muslims believe was verbally revealed by Allah to Muhammad through the angel Gabriel, gradually over a period of approximately 23 years, beginning in AD 609, when Muhammad was 40, and concluding in 632, the year of his death:

Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them. 2:191

Muslims must not take the infidels as friends. 3:28

Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable. 3:85

Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam. 5:33

Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Quran. 8:12

Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels. 8:60

The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them. 8:65

When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you find them. 9:5

The Jews and Christians are perverts, fight them. 9:30

Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood. 9:123

Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water, melt their skin and bellies. 22:19

Do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them. 47:4

There is light and darkness. Live in the light and let it guide you. Do not hide in the darkness and harbor evil. As Christians, Jesus is our light to lead us out of the darkness of evil.

Evil has no rules, boundaries, or limits. And sometimes violence may become necessary to defend ourselves against evil. Even the Prince of Peace, our lord Jesus, overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves and drove them from the temple. Therefore, we should not condone evil in the name of peace. Instead we are to put on the full armor of GOD and resist evil. But sometimes we must defend our GOD given rights with violence for that is the way of this world until Jesus comes again.

Remember the father GOD hates evil and doesn’t give a rat’s a$$ about political correctness. He made the rules. And also remember, the god of the Koran is a false god and not our GOD. Our GOD did not inspire the Koran.

Disclaimer: These are my beliefs, as in any discussion of a religious nature your mileage may vary.

By His Third Commandment, it is sinful to do evil in God's name.

OTOH, allah’s slaves are commanded to do evil in his name.

To admit muslims into our country is to kindle a new Dark Age.

It ain’t true right now, but no promises for tomorrow.

But there are promises for tomorrow - Jesus will the the CinC/Army/Navy/AF/Marines and He will defeat Evil.

He does not expect us to do His job for Him....

The Muslim"god" is a cowardly wimp if he needs the protection of sick mortals and hides behind them....

The “nations” were probably tribal kingdoms or cities. You may want to read the Old Testament and do your own study. I use the New American Standard Version. Closest to Hebrew and Greek but still makes sense in English. Young’s is a literal translation so when I have a question I will compare the two. Always read in context. I read the whole book first then go back again to take notes unless it is too long. Then I do it in chunks.

Start at Numbers 33 through all of Deuteronomy. When they didn’t obey, there were repercussions (Numbers 33:55 & 56 “55 But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall come about that those whom you let remain of them will become as pricks in your eyes and as thorns in your sides, and they will trouble you in the land in which you live. 56 And as I plan to do to them, so I will do to you.”)

Deut 20

16 “Only in the cities of these peoples that the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, you shall not leave alive anything that breathes. 17 “But you shall utterly destroy them, the Hittite and the Amorite, the Canaanite and the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite, as the LORD your God has commanded you, 18 so that they may not teach you to do according to all their detestable things which they have done for their gods, so that you would sin against the LORD your God.”

Why? child sacrifice was foremost. God has not changed. The world now practices child sacrifice except for 5 nations. God also warned the Israelites not to do what those natives were doing or the same judgment would come upon them. They did and it happened. They were invaded. The Mayas and Incas were invaded and Native American tribes also practiced human sacrifice. Not all. And the U.S. is now practicing human sacrifice. God is just.

hmmm. There were minimums at times when God would not destroy a whole people.

Galations 5:22 lists the fruit of the Spirit. The conclusion is “against such there is no law.” If there is a law against any of these, that law would come from Satan himself.

There is a huge difference. Namely that while God commanded his people to destroy particular nations at particular times in history, Allah commands his people to destroy the infidels for all time. In other words, the Koran's violence isn't confined to the past.
