I don't think anyone makes the choice to be same-sex attracted (or other-sex attracted, for that matter.)

But if one ignores the Laws of God, one does choose to commit the sin of fornication or sodomy.

Same-sex attraction is a profound violation of the natural order. To the extent that someone lack full control over this, it may be considered more of serious human disorder than sinful in nature. Any statements by a religious leader on this subject that do not explicitly acknowledge this are nothing more than deceit.

Personally, I believe this is what the Third Secret of Fatima was all about. For our sins, we are being punished by having diabolical freaks infiltrate the highest levels of every human institution that governs our lives.
