I fear this is only the beginning of things yet to come.

It's best to drive the REPROBATES AWAY from you, and NOT TRY to understand them.
Why would you even want to understand a REPROBATE MIND ?

They had to "Earn their REPROBATE MIND" by refusing God ~ not once, ~ not twice, ~ but THREE times!

You need to not only read, BUT STUDY this link
I especially agree with its last paragraph. There will be NO HOMOSEXUALS ( NOT ONE ) in the afterlife.
They WILL BE ASHES UNDER the soles of your feet ! ! !

Sexually immorality has plagued catholocism for centuries. The difference now seems to be that there is pressure not to just sweep it under the rug, but openly celebrate it.

Benedict would have resigned for only one reason: the good of the Church. I have no idea what the threat was (it may have been related to Vatican finances rather than gays, although some of the players are the same). He is essentially living as a prisoner in the Vatican gardens.

Sexual immorality plagues all religions because of the power involved, and all human beings because we are fallen mortals wth disordered passions.

One of the Church fathers said something equivalent to “all heresy begins below the belt.” And it’s true if you look at all the heretical movements, almost all of them began with or involved a sexual component. People want to live in debauchery but get the Church to approve it and say that it’s ok.

The only difference is that once upon a time they had to leave the Church to form their own organization, but now it seems as if they have gotten enough power to think they can finally take over the Church itself and get its approval.

As a person who enjoys liberty and does not want to empower government any more than it has to be, I used to say that what people did in the privacy of their own bedroom was of no concern to me. But here is a reason that God outlawed homosexual behavior and we are seeing it here. That reason is that when such people practice sins like these, they begin to demand not only the allowance to practice it, but they demand that society approve of it. And that is where their private sin becomes a moral cancer of society as a whole. And that cannot be permitted.

The late Fr. Martin referred to it as the “Superforce” and it could not be resisted within the Vatican. He wouldn’t be more specific than that. However, he did say it would reveal itself in time. I think we now know.

I've thought the same thing but concluded it was an act of faith--Benedict's confidence that God would thwart their plans--for him to step aside. Benedict's continued good health puts the lie to the claims made by those who deposed him.

In another context, this might be termed "strategery."

The upcoming synod may be the shadow church's high water mark. I don't know. We need to pray.
