We kept our mother at home after her debilitating stroke. My sister, God Bless her, took the lead with care. several boughts with C-diff made it quite rough. My mother passed 10 months later.

Keeping her out of the hands of the lazy, unprofessional, crazy-expensive, death-care-for-the-aged system was the right thing to do.

I took care of my father at my house...until he died. It was the right thing to do.

I work in a hospital.

I will agree....there is a portion of healthcare workers...who are lazy and unprofessional. Totally agree....

But don't insult the folks who are professional and are not lazy..
