BELGRADE A group of about hundred people, led by clerics, walked the same route as the Pride Parade. Priests cleansed the streets with holy water. One priest tore the flag with the colors of the rainbow, which is the symbol of the LGBT population.
The group gathered in front of St. Marks Church in Belgrade, to protest on the occasion of the holding of Pride Parade.
At the moment the Pride Parade participants got closer to the gathering place, the priest began cleansing the streets.
Last year we had floods. Before that we battled with heavy snow. Now we deal with drought. This is the punishment from God because we let sodomists to parade, said nun Evrosimija Nikolic from the monastery Novi Sjenik.

Why not just bless the oceans/lakes/water supplies? Holy water everywhere....
The Nun speaks the TRUTH!!
In our Orthodox parishes, we normally bless water at Theophany (The Great Blessing of the Waters), at the usual time of the Lesser Blessing of the Waters in August, and at every Baptism.

It always takes a long time!!!!
According to the Wikipedia article, the Lesser Blessing of the Waters may be done throughout the year, “according to need”. I have never seen that done. But I imagine it was done—in Belgrade—because of the need to bless the streets after their desecration by the Sodomites and foreign agents!!!!
I wish that we had Orthodox Priests and Bishops with the courage to bless the streets of our American cities with Holy Water after they are sullied by “pride week”!!!!

I hope that Dveri Srpske—and Serbian Hierarchs—will stage a Family Parade in Belgrade again to counter the “Parade of Shame” (as Patriarch Irinej and several other Serbian Bishops call it)!!!!
They do blessings of rivers, lakes, etc. They still pray to God to bless the water before they use it to symbolize God’s blessings.
