At church this morning, in Dana Point CA, they had a lifesize cut out print of the Pontiff. We were encouraged to stand with for photo opportunities.
I offered to stand next to the cardboard print, only if I could face the opposite direction.
My wife did not think it was a good idea.
I've heard about those life-sized cut-outs posted in many Catholic churches. It borders on idolatry.
Never heard of it before with former popes, Catholic popes that is.
