My life is probably as tough as the next person. Probably less. So many play the victim instead of witnessing just how blessed we really are.
I wasn’t dragged through the streets of Jerusalem carrying a 200 pound cross on my back, spit on, yelled at, abused, and beaten to a bloody pulp for doing absolutely nothing wrong. Or tossed into prison, starving, alone, and punished like John was. Or burned on a pyre. Or left for dead in the desert.
Amen!
...and yet things like you’ve described ARE happening today around the world to some of those who DARE claim the name of Jesus.
