Cupich commits a mortal sin every time he gives communion to a pro-abort politician. He is also not pro-life. When he was bishop of Spokane he would not let parish priests participate in any pro-life marches, this includes 40 Days for Life. Cardinal George was everything Cupich is not. George was a great, devout Catholic. Cupich is anything but. Being selected as Archbishop of Chicago just shows you how far the Catholic Church has fallen in America. He’s also been selected to participate in the Synod of the Family so look for him to be one of the liberals pushing for communion for divorced and remarried and the church recognizing sodomite unions. Thank God the African cardinals will be there to shoot down the libs like Cupich.

I think Cupich was a terrible pick for Archbishop of Chicago, but last time I checked, his "late, great predecessor" Cardinal George ALSO gave Holy Communion to pro-abortion politicians, marched for illegal immigrant "rights" and promoted amnesty, and happily championed "gun control" laws.

Let's not pretend otherwise.
