If someone is gay and searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge? Two years ago Tuesday, Pope Francis uttered these words.
Are we all sinners?
Absolutely
Do we need forgiveness of our sins, once we repent? Absolutely.
Do we need a representative of God to point out sin?
Absolutely
My Church allows anyone that wants to the opportunity to worship and gives access to all the church services and counseling available tom members We do not allow Homosexuals or Heterosexuals living together (Not married) to be voting members of our Church. I feel the Pope is lukewarm towards sinners (as defined in the Bible). Just my felling, I could be wrong.
I think that’s a far better topic of discussion since it revolves around the actual words of the pope instead of a generic form letter thank you note from a staff member.
You're not alone.
No. God's Law is written on people's hearts and the Holy Spirit convicts them of sin and God's word tells us what sin is. All someone has to do is read it.
Just look at the two year old who knows right from wrong when they try to hide something that they are doing that is wrong, and they know it by nature.
