There isn’t one part of Roman Christianity’s basic teachings-

The name Jesus
December 25
Good Friday
Easter Sunday

That can’t be explained away..with scripture. Even newer sloppy translators have given us two Scripture witnesses and references that allow doubt of how sacred a name Jesus is..
(Those scriptures are Acts 7:45 and Hebrew 4:8- those were once sacred’jesus’ name but have been substituted with the English joshua-again, sloppy)

And that ‘core’ is exactly what most of the protestants I know believe in, too. (I was one .. Still am but far more so that even protestants would feel they need to come to Rome’s defense now and again)..

And it took coming out of the world to see it. Because people who call today ‘Monday’, may never ‘see’ the differences..or think they aren’t important. The only way to tell a counterfeit from the genuine is to hold it up to the Light. I have done that work by His Amazing Grace and Mercy.

But it was that ‘Serve me’ from Mary and her 14th promise pointing to Jesus that got me wondering when do lies ever point to Truth in scripture..

Those prayers are ‘biblical’.. The promises for praying them are not.
And I have no problem saying it.

Because I have heeded the call of testing/proving all things-
And asking,seeking and knocking.

A humbling experience but it is why when one brings up the Rosary , I chime in! That is how He made me think..

And I met Him as the Roman Jesus, but He didn’t let me stay there..

Most protestant daughters couldn’t say that..

But it is All for His Glory!

So you are conversant with real Catholic Apologetics on the points you cite? Coming from the Evangelical background to Catholicism, I've yet to see a Protestant "refutation" that didn't wind up looking like the last scene in Elvis' "Follow That Dream."

Further, given the sheer volume of extra-biblical "explanations" required to make Protestant incongruities "workable," I don't believe "throwing stones from a glass house" is inappropriate.
