It was this part you left out:
Promise 1.Whoever shall faithfully SERVE ME(Mary) by the recitation of the Rosary...
Luke 4:8
It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and SERVE HIM only.’
Oops. Sloppy on the part of Mary or her handlers.
protestant’s don’t know too much about those and if more tested those, they might question what their ‘faith’ is in..
Rome’s Jesus and Rome’s Mary who ignores Luke 4:8
Or
Another ‘Jesus’ and another ‘Mary’ who would never contradict the Word made flesh..
And because I saw the difference, I see the clever substitute Rome has created- a Roman Jesus with a fake birthday (fake December 25 vs the real New Moon Day of His 6th month) , a fake day of death (good friday vs the real Passover)and a fake resurrection day(fake Easter vs real First Fruits)
One according to Rome and its catechism and calendar.
And the genuine according to His Word and His Calendar.
And there is a difference..
Most won’t see it.
1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive signal graces.
Source: 15rosarypromises
Right there is your first clue this is not from God.
Now compare with the Word:
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God and who are called by His name (Romans 8:28)
We have the Holy Spirit making intercession for us...always (Romans 8:26)
We have been given the Holy Spirit as our Helper and Advocate as already noted.
Christians do not serve Mary.
This is blasphemy.
3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.
Compared to the Word:
Ephesians 6:10-13
10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
5.The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.
Bible says:
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16)
11.You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.
Really? There should never be another sick or poor catholic in the world if you believe this.
Why is a statue an idol?
I did.
Why is a statue an idol?
Do you believe in the 15 promises of saying the Rosary?
No you didn’t.Is Mary the Mother of God?If not who is.Just want to understand your thinking on this.Thanks.
Man, I didn't realize just how far off base roman catholicism was. Now I realize it's much, much worse than I thought.
No one is “fixated” on Mary more than the anti-Catholic. That’s all they talk about sometimes.
Yes I did. If you don’t like the answer I’m sorry.
And yet we’re on this thread....why?
Your answer”What she is referred to in the Word.”Sorry some people can quote the the word.My mistake.
Sloppy on the part of Mary or her handlers.
Oh, okay. I see.
I think it's kind of Matt 23:9, what with all the Lord's references to servants, but whatever you feel lead to....
Personally, I have experienced the "signal graces" promised while in the very act of praying the rosary, and to this day have never found a Protestant brother or sister who could adequately answer the "fly in the ointment" shown to me in that revelation.
I'd be happy to share it with you, but it does take some lengthy set-up.
I’m already engaged in that conversation with the poster.
Please return to the point I’ve asked *you* about.
Regarding your question. The fact you think what the rcc has taught on this is not in contradiction of the Word is the issue.
.
When I pray th Rosary I don’t expect anything or any promise.
The Rosary is a meditative prayer on The a Mysteries of Scripture, which are:
The Mysteries of the Rosary
Joyful Mystery of the Rosary
The Annunciation of the Lord to Mary
The Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth
The Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ
The Presentation of our Lord
Finding Jesus in the Temple at age 12
Sorrowful Mystery of the Rosary
The Agony of Jesus in the Garden
The Scourging at the Pillar
Jesus is Crowned with Thorns
Jesus Carried the Cross
The Crucifixion of our Lord
Glorious Mystery of the Rosary
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ
The Ascension of Jesus to Heaven
The Descent of the Holy Ghost
The Assumption of Mary into Heaven
Mary is Crowned as Queen of Heaven and Earth
It takes 20-25 minutes to complete.
I expect nothing since the idea of prayer is to give of yourself not get for yourself.
AMDG
Don’t tell me.....the issue is with the 15 promises supported by roman catholicism....though I’m glad to hear you’re not praying selfishly.
All f the mysteries are scriptural all of them
I thought Catholics were unscriptural?
Perish the thought! I just don't want you diverting attention away from the fact you made false claim against JPll by letting you segue off on another issue, unchallenged.
Regarding your question. The fact you think what the rcc has taught on this is not in contradiction of the Word is the issue.
and that justifies duplicity on your part?
