None of which answers my question, nor does it accurately reflect the intent of my question.
Jesus himself was accused of sin by the foremost religious leaders of his time, yet we know those accusations were invalid. How do you know your speculative inferences are not of the same character without a specific verse?
She is blessed...and she is the Mother of our Lord. You can find all that in the first chapter of Luke.
See if this works.
Yes....but not as catholics have characterized them.
Quote-recites the rosary,
I did get a rosary package from a nice catholic once with beads and an instruction manual for praying the rosary.
In it, it included 15 promises of Mary for praying the rosary.
Didn’t get past the 1st of 15 promises before that Mary conflicted with her ‘Son’ when He confronted Satan in scripture.
I realized that Rome’s Mary is a liar and must point to another Jesus.
And boy, is that something Rome’s protestants daughters can say?
Thank you, mlizzy.
BTW, I thought there was to be an end to the criticizing and contempt for Catholics on this forum (usually referred to as “Catholic-bashing”).
That's what YOU think and thousands of other NCCs who know nothing of the daily life of a Catholic.
From catholiconline
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I will begin this day. I thank you, Lord, for having preserved me during the night. I will do my best to make all I do today pleasing to You and in accordance with Your will. My dear mother Mary, watch over me this day. My Guardian Angel, take care of me. St. Joseph and all you saints of God, pray for me... (followed by Daily Offering)
You made my point in your prior post.
Respect for women BEGINS with respect for the Mother of Jesus.
An observation of tendencies I've seen on this board and in life is "catholic-bashing".
Contrasting catholic teachings on Mary with the Word is "catholic-bashing."
Man, catholics are thin skinned.
Could you please be more specific?
After reading the entire page, I can find no assertion of Marian “replacement” of the Holy Spirit.
Indeed, each reference to her unique position seems to emphasize the “cooperative” nature of her ministry.
So what should we call the Mother of God.Or are you saying She is not the Mother of God?
good grief.
What she is referred to in the Word.
That’s a nice prayer.
What is your objection to "signal graces?"
And proves my point that catholics run to Mary.
“There you go again”.
Can I take that as your admission the document does not say what you claimed?
Answer my question first please.
Yw, asyouwish!
They seem to allow some trouncing on the Mother of God from time to time, but it’s not as bad as it has been previous.
Actually, I think denying the title “Mother of God” is more properly understood as a denial of Christ’s divinity.
