Excellent...
Thank you, the follow up video (The preacher and the stranger) is excellent as well. I love “story songs” like those.

Joey and Rory are my FAVORITES! and they are my neighbors...live just down the road a piece.
knarf, Joey and Rory Feek are a wonderful Christian couple from Pottsville, TN. They live on a farm, grow a lot of their own food. This is another of songs, Rory is a long time Nashville song writer, former Marine. They hold concerts at their farm. Rory’s sister Marcy Joe runs a small town cafe with great home cooked food.

MS Joey had Indiana Boone last year, she is a Special Needs Downs baby, then it was discovered she had cervical cancer, had a full hysterectomy, went through chemo and seemed to be doing good.
Indiana is just a little over a year old now, and Ms Joey had surgery last month to remove a 9 cm tumor in Joey’s sigmoid colon, she will be under going extensive chemo and radiation treatment.
Mine and hubby’s too. Rory was stationed at the same Navy base my husband taught at they talked about the base for some time. Both are so down to earth. Joey helps out in Marcy Jo’s where the cooking is great. We got to meet them when we went to visit hubby’s eldest daughter at Marcy Jo’s. Wonderful Christian couple, had a couple of real hard years with Joey having Indiana and then having cancer twice.
Send some prayers up for Ms Joey to be rid of the cancer for good this time.
God works so beautifully and in such wonderful ways
I thought I was passing on something someone had sent to me via FB, but it was God speasking to me and allowing me to broadcast it over the internet
I remember posting the bible and a belt and thinking ... people are going to love this ....
Today, in the quiet of having gotten ready for church and settling my spirit before leaving, I'm lifted in love for a couple of people I know but never met
Eight and a half hour drive ... piece o’cake for this retired trucker.
knarf, I’m like you few musician’s move me to want to follow them.
I know that the Feeks were not the first to do the Bible and the Belt, but they are the first I heard do it.
They have really been through the fire the last 3 years, and still stand strong for the Lord. Very down to earth people. If you ever get a chance to go see them in concert it is not like those mega ones. Their barn only seats about 200. And you get a lot more show than you paid for. Often they bring Indiana on stage with them if she is not napping. They pour a lot of love and money into being sure she gets the best treatment for Downs that can be had.
Thank you for lifting them up in prayer.
Both were on the C & W scene long before they met. Those Bib overalls’ are Rory’s work/dress clothes.
This was taken after the Cervical cancer surgery.
And of course, I have a Down's grandson
