“Where is the “deed” recorded?”

****

Wouldn’t be a deed. Just a simple contract. The question of enforceability would hinge on several factors, including whether a soul exists (valuable consideration), whether it is transferable, and whether such transfers are consistent or contrary to public policy.

Frankly, this is the type of twisted scenario you find on a 1L Contracts Law exam.

There’s also the issue of “standing.” Who gets to collect? If not in person, who is the Big D’s authorized representative?

What’s the consideration... viewing a statue at a reception seems pretty thin.

Refuse to sign, and sue them for bait and switch. If you paid for a ticket, but were denied entry when you refused to sign, which likely wasn’t stated anywhere on the ticket, then they have broken the law.
