I have a pressure canner and maybe it’s time to start pressure canning some meat again.

I like canning of all types because the food is NOT dependent on electricity to keep the freezer going.

Mr. mm recently bought a power inverter that runs off the car, which comes with convenient sizable gas can attached.

He said it also provides cleaner electricity than a regular generator would, so it could be used for the computer.

And no, I don’t know what brand he bought. I can ask him when he gets home.

Keep the thought of an EMP attack in mind
Lots of electric generating stuff may not work including your car

I have enough tea candles and a couple of clay pots to heat at least one room for 6 months - plenty of instructions online
At least might hold down the electric bill next winter

Your car DOES run on GAS; doesn't it?

I think ALL computers have switching regulators in them and the dirtiness of the electrical waveform wouldn't faze them a bit.
