I know God is still in control, but that is a scary statement.
Remember David's attitude toward the boastful and huge Goliath and his response to the giant. It wasn't David, or the stone in his sling, or even David's skill. It was David's total faith in The Lord that guided him in the Spirit that day of battle.
Same for all faithful believers in Lord Jesus Christ today, tomorrow, and forever.
(I know you know these things, Mark17. Just wanted to encourage someone...any and every born-of-the-Spirit believer in Jesus...to keep the faith in THE LORD'S might and not to back away from the main battles, as I was tempted to do this past week.)
