The Shemitah Unraveled: What 2015-2016 Could Bring
CHARISMANEWS ^ | 3/10/2015 | Troy Anderson and Jessilyn Justice

Posted on 07/26/2015 12:10:38 PM PDT by metmom

As the world waits to see what the end of a seven-year biblical cycle known as the Shemitah may bring this fall, New York Times best-selling author Rabbi Jonathan Cahn issued a warning to prepare for economic calamity, war in the Middle East or even worse.

*snip*

In The Mystery of the Shemitah, Cahn described how this biblical pattern is connected to numerous events in modern history, including the rise of America to superpower status, World Wars I and II, the return of the Jewish people to their ancient homeland, the Six-Day War and even the rising of the World Trade Center.

He also noted a pattern of judgments at seven-year intervals in September 2001 and 2008 marked by the greatest crashes in Wall Street history, up to that time. The first occurred on Sept. 17, 2001, just a few days after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, and the second occurred on Sept. 29, 2008. Both occurred on the biblical day of Elul 29, the very day appointed to wipe out the financial accounts of a nation. The next one occurs on Sept. 13.

"For years, financial observers have been mystified why it is that all the greatest crashes tend to take place the same time of year," Cahn says. "When is it? September to October. What if we take the greatest crashes in history. Do any of them take place at the end of the seven-year cycle of the Shemitah at the time of the wipeout and the answer is, 'Yes.' Every single one of them does. And the thing is the phenomenon is increasing. It's intensifying."

Psst, lookie what Jesus said about those who crucified Him....

Luke 23:34 And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.

There's not a thing you can do to make Him NOT love you. Not beat Him, not spit in His face, not mock Him, not crucify Him.

Yes, I know. You aren’t supposed to fast on the Sabbath. But the 9th of Av is still the 9th of Ave no matter what.

Of course Shemitah is ending and in America we have not let our fields lay fallow as the Jews were commanded by Gid.

But to watch for the signs as God promised them to Israel, especially if they are occurring here in America as a warning to us....or to our pharaoh obama

I’ll let you know if the Potomac River turns to bood ....lol!

I have many gallon jugs of water. A gallon is easy to carry, and I just fill empty jugs from other sources. Water matters - for drinking, cooking, and cleaning. I also have a quality water filter.

I have plenty of food that I enjoy eating. Plenty does not mean a week; it means more months than you would guess. Pasta lasts for a couple years, and it’s cheap and light. Add cheap sauce, and you have a meal. Add a can of soup to that and you have a little variety in your meal. Throw in potato flakes, flour, and rice and you have a variety of sources for calories. Then add canned spam/tuna/chicken and canned fruit and you have protein and vitamin C.

Self-defense? I shoot daily (but I can afford to). At least dry-fire daily, to make sure you are familiar and comfortable with any weapons you own. Make sure you have as much ammo as you can afford and safely store. Liberals will take anything by force if you have more than them, or even if you just have stuff they want. When government will no longer take your stuff for them, they will try to do it themselves. Keep a shovel for disposing of liberals who choose unwisely, and don’t feel guilty - you will be protecting your own family and other innocent people against pure evil.

Soap is cheap, and it’s easy to store a two-year supply. Just stick it in a plastic bin out of the way. If you don’t need it for an emergency, you can just use it, replacing it as you do to make sure you always have a lot. The same for most hygiene items.

“kthxbai”?

Never heard of him.

Try Jesus.....

He’s the one who came and feasted with the tax collectors and prostitutes.

The religious leaders were indignant and accused Him of being a glutton and drunkard. And you know what? He never denied that He drank.

It’s the sick that need a doctor and sinners who need a savior. Those who don’t sin don’t need saving; He didn’t come for them.

Canning jars are to be found everywhere these days, with canning season on us.

I use them to store all kinds of things. Pasta, nuts, popcorn, spices.

Put that lid on, even without processing it, and it’s hermetically sealed. Nothing can get in or out. It prevents infestation of a whole supply of pasta from one bad box.

Spices keep much better. I freeze nuts and spices in the canning jars and they keep indefinitely and it also kills anything that might be harbored in there.

Keep the thought of an EMP attack in mind
Lots of electric generating stuff may not work including your car

I have enough tea candles and a couple of clay pots to heat at least one room for 6 months - plenty of instructions online
At least might hold down the electric bill next winter

This Tisha B’Av is an appropriate time to recall Fast of the Eighth of Tevet, commemorating the disaster of the Torah being translated into Greek, thus “darkness descended on the world” with its abuse.

That fast was rolled together with Fast of the Ninth Tevet in commemoration of the death of Ezra the Scribe, and with Holocaust remembrance for religious Jews, and all three are now part of the Fast of the Tenth of Tevet, which was the start of the Siege of Jerusalem.

Yeah, that occurred to me.

There’s only so much I can do.

And is worse comes to worse, the *worst* thing that can happen to me is to die.

And since I know where I’m going, it’s really the best thing.

I’m just not real excited about the process.

As Christians we will not have to go thru the Tribulation but that does not mean we will not go thru hard times. This September does not necessarily mean the advent of the Rapture. However it could mean the fulfillment of Isaiah 17 followed by the Psalm 83 War and then the Ezekiel 38-39 War. The Rapture could happen any time from now until the beginning of the Ezekiel 38-39 War. Maranatha.

Put your trust in Christ and let it all just unfold in wonderment. The Tribulation period is for Israel and the people who have not put their trust in Jesus. Be one who does put your trust in Jesus and the Tribulation isn’t even for you.

The economic collapse of 2008 and the sign that preceeded the event.

Signs in the Heavens

Genesis 1:14 Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;

Back in December of 2007 I was watching the planet Mars rise with the constellation Orion the hunter. Not a good combination to say the least. Then on the evening of December 24 the moon became full and an hour and change later occults Mars. My first thought was that war had been conceived.

Then exactly 9 lunar months (full moons) on September 15th 2008 Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy. Conception, gestation and birth.

24 Full Moon at 1:16 UT. The full Moon of December is called the Moon Before Yule in folklore.

24 Moon very near Mars at 3h UT (midnight sky). Mag. -1.6. Occultation visible from Alaska, Western Canada, and Europe.

How the economy went so bad, so fast and what Paulson and Bernanke didn't see, couldn't stop and haven't been able to fix.

http://video.pbs.org/video/1082087546/

Clips:

NARRATOR: Lehman Brothers had been far more interconnected than Paulson believed. Systemic risk became a reality.

JOE NOCERA: We had a contagion that operated almost around the globe. The panic from Lehman spreads to AIG, spreads to Morgan Stanley, spreads to Goldman Sachs. Suddenly, Ireland is having problems. Suddenly, the Bank of England is bailing out banks. Suddenly, Iceland is bankrupt. The state of Iceland, it's bankrupt, an entire country! Suddenly, China has gone from being one of the world's highest-growth countries to almost a no-growth country in the flash of an eye. That's contagion.

JOE NOCERA: No bank wants to lend to any other bank because they're afraid that the other bank won't be able to pay them back, even though this inter-bank lending is at the very, very heart of the banking system, of the worldwide banking system.

NARRATOR: Banks stopped lending. The credit markets froze.

MARK GERTLER: We're no longer just talking about mortgages, we're talking about car loans, loans to small businesses, commercial paper borrowing by large banks. Commercial banks are now infected. This is like a disease spread.

NEWSCASTER: It's a tough day, man. It's a tough day.

ADAM DAVIDSON, Planet Money / NPR: There's nobody able to get a loan, these short-term loans. The safest companies in the world, the most rock solid banks in the world, unable to borrow money.

CHARLES DUHIGG: Everything freezes, and that's what causes the crisis. And it really started because Lehman Brothers went into bankruptcy. No one forecasted that this was going to happen. But it turns out that this one decision made all the difference...

Sen. CHRISTOPHER DODD: I had no idea I was going to hear what I heard, sitting in that room with Hank Paulson saying to us in very measured tones that, "Unless you act, the financial system of this country and the world will melt down in a matter of days." There was literally a pause in that room where the oxygen left.

NARRATOR: Paulson carried an emergency plan his staff had drafted.

GRETCHEN MORGENSON: His plan was a $700 billion - a request for that money from the taxpayer - to be used to buy the kinds of toxic mortgage securities that were creating so many problems for the banks...

This sign and event was so huge it had to be in scripture, sure enough.

Daniel 2

Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream

31 “You, O king, were watching; and behold, a great image! This great image, whose splendor was excellent, stood before you; and its form was awesome. 32 This image’s head was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, 33 its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. 34 You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

The fall of 2008 was the beginning of the end, the rock struck the feet of the statue and the chaff has been falling ever since. What really amazes me is that no one else seems to have seen this sign?

06 04:35 Aldebaran 1.5°S of Moon
06 12:27 FULL MOON

http://astropixels.com/ephemeris/astrocal/astrocal2014gmt.html

The great "red giant", war-like Aldebaran is one of the four "Guardians of Heaven" - sentinels watching over other stars. It formed one of the four royal stars of Persia as "Watcher of the East".

These were also called archangel stars; this star Aldebaran was Michael - Military Commander of the Heavenly Host. The others were; Gabriel (Fomalhaut) Watcher of the South; Raphael (Regulus) Watcher of the North; Uriel (Antares) Watcher of the West. At one time they marked the two Equinoxes and two Solstices. Aldebaran marked the zero Aries point in 3044 BC, Antares marked zero Libra 3052 BC, Fomalhaut marked zero Capricornus, 2582 BC, Regulus marked zero Cancer 2345 BC. [The angel associations come from Eric Morse, The Living Stars, p.35. Allen's explanation of these four stars on p.256 of Star Names]

It goes without saying that books and games are good to have on hand.

Some of the fools will have no books or games on hand when they go through iphone/texting withdrawal.
