Is there anywhere on Earth during any given 24 hours that there are no planes in the skies around the globe? The Harvest of the Church from the Earth will be a world-wide event occurring at the speed of lightening coming out of the East and going to the West. Not only will there be planes falling from the sky with no pilot or co-pilot, there will be trains suddenly driverless, and huge semis zipping along the interstates suddenly driverless, and cars driverless. etc. The righteous in Christ are being harvested from the Earth. Those not in Christ are not the focus of His return int he air. Later, at the end of the Tribulation, He will destroy millions with just the sword out fo His mouth, so the death you abhor is the fate of the unrighteous, their choice.
Letting something happen and causing something to happen are two different things. Yes, Jesus' robes will be blood-soaked in his second coming, as the bible says. But there is no rapture, and the plane thing isn't the defining thing for me, the Word is, but it should put pause in any rapture-believer that all these planes are going to crash in one day as an act of Jesus to kick off the Tribulation.

We're well into the seals/trumps/vials and it didn't happen. So since you're not out of here it's time to get crackin, learn the Word, and get ready to be tossed into prison so you can let the Holy Spirit testify through you at your trials and convert many. That's what we're here for, to convert people, not to run at the first sign of trouble.
People are being beheaded for Jesus at this very moment. The fifth seal is upon us and no worldwide plane/train crashes.

Here's a short description of the effects of the Rapture:
An EMP like no one could imagine will erupt from the East and travel at the speed of lightening to the West, encircling the globe. The resulting frying of electrical circuitry not protected and appliances not unplugeed will be immediate.Where it is night on Earth, darkness will descended like a shroud. Where it is day the catastrophes of planes crashing and trucks crashing and trains crashing and cars crashing, well, it will be such chaos that figuring out what just happened will be almost impossible, except for those who were first hand witnesses of someone disappearing right before their eyes. Two will be in a bed, one will disappear the other will be left. Two will be working in the field, one will disappear the other will be left, etc.

The chaos to the communications systems will be near total collapse. Battery operated things will be exploded all over the place and fires will erupt everywhere, in drawers, in car dashes and seats, in backpacks, in kitchens, in media rooms. The chaos will be, well, beyond reasoning out. Fires in tall buildings will erupt with no means to put them out after the stored water in containers is drained out. Trains underground will cease to move and total darkness will engulf the subways. Even battery and generator emergency power will not work, having their circuitry fried.
Planes falling fromt he sky will be but one small incident pattern in a global, much larger chaos. Ontop this scene of chaos will stride one the Vatican will welcome for his organizational acumen and security countenance. The leadership of denominations such as the Episcopalians and Methodists, etc., and even some of Islam will welcome his rescue from the chaos.
The chaos will be greatest in countries with Christian numbers significant enough o be crucial tot he communications and transportation and public services. Iran will likely have very little trouble recovering fromt he event. Suadi Arabia, likewise. But places like big US cities and cities like London, Paris, HongKong, Sidney, Christchurch, cities with a significant Christian remnant, these re the palces the chaos will be greatest. ... And the blood enemies of ISrael will make their move to try and annihilate ISrael and all Jews from the face of the Earth and especially from the Middle EAst. Into this sort of scene the anti-Christ will be welcomed as a savior of civilization.
