Hundreds of LGBT activists have flooded imdb.com to register their negative comments in advance of the film's Aug. 19 scheduled YouTube debut. But Comfort doubts many of them have actually watched it. "They would rather have a quadruple root-canal by a blind dentist than pay $19.99 to watch a Christian movie on this subject," he said, adding that "The Friendly Atheist" ripped into the movie with a 70-minute review with more than 7,000 downloads in just three days, pointing to the popularity of the controversial topic.

Despite the message of love that permeates Living Waters Publications' newest film, Audacity, LGBT activists are warning others away from watching it, giving it poor online reviews with comments such as "avoid at all costs."Really. Or what?

"The Friendly Atheist" ripped into the movie with a 70-minute review ...Why, it's almost as if "The Friendly Atheist" was really, really upset.

When the ‘friendly’ atheist goes ‘unfriendly’ one would almost think natural order had been restored. :>)

"The Friendly Atheist" ripped into the movie with a 70-minute review 1) Why do I have the feeling that "The Friendly Atheist" might not be very friendly?
2) You can't buy that kind of publicity for any amount of money.

Better to be booed than ignored.

One irritation I have with Christian movies is deus ex machina they all seem to rely on. Maybe this is ironically unavoidable. “Oh, so the whole thing gets resolved when the antagonist has a change of heart?”

Just watch the preview, sounds good because it’s about a kid who wants to find a way to still care about those who are homosexual while not agreeing with their behavior. It’s worth watching, and the reason it’s so offensive because for some activists love automatically equals agreeing with them. It’s one of those things that sets an optimistic message.
To: xzins
I really like some of his interviews.
Some of the interviews shown in the preview are from an earlier movie he did (noah)

Me too, but then again, you aren’t exactly talking experienced film makers for these movies either.

deus ex machina In ancient Greek theatre, they'd lower an actor portraying one of the gods onto the stage using a crane. His role was to solve whatever problem that was unsolvable even by the most heroic of heroes.
If I may be so bold ...
The real God wasn't lowered onto a stage, He was raised on a cross ... to solve a problem completely unsolvable by purely human effort.

Who, regardless of his religion, has 70 minutes for a movie review? That just shows obsession.

They should have hired an actual “gay” actor to play the lead, just to really get their goat.

Oh, so the whole thing gets resolved when the antagonist has a change of heart?
Was just going back and forth yesterday with another Freeper whose plan to end PC was to convince some of the Lib leaders they're wrong.
Fifty years of brainwashing millions of "progressives" and that's all there is to it. Unbelievable.
