With the Supreme Court decision last week legalizing same-sex marriage in the United States, some Christian parents wonder how they ought to explain all of this to their small children. So how does one teach about the law and the controversy, without exposing ones children to more than they can handle?

When my seven year old son saw the Chobani commercial (during the day on FoodNetwork) I told him that some people have brain problems and do bad things.
About the same way I explain the tooth fairy.
I say some people are born defective with two heads, three legs, and some would rather kiss people of the same sex. We should feel sorry for them and treat them with fairness and kindness, but always keep in mind they are defective.
You can’t. The millenials are lost. Don’t trust anyone under thirty.
Wrong! They are choosing their delusion, not victims of chance.
Sodomite life expectancy in America = 45yrs
Easy, explain to your kids there are people who are PURE EVIL. They will quickly get it.
True BobL ... The 'under 40' are talking ....
I am afraid to ask. What was the Chobani commercial?
“True BobL ... The ‘under 40’ are talking .... “
Yep, as long as I pay for the schools, and they keep inserting their recruiters in those same schools, I will FIGHT THEM, with everything I’ve got.
The setting is a tropical island on which sits an open air bungalow. Picture the most romantic honeymoon spot ever. A woman gets out of bed and walks outside naked (it suggests that anyway), but not before turning and smiling to the woman who is still in bed.
stay the course BobL ... Please
Load ‘em but don’t ‘Fire ‘em?’
“If you see vomit on the ground, is stepping around it normal?”
“Yes.”
“So, would deliberately stepping in it be considered abnormal.”
“I guess so.”
“Gay ‘marriage’ is being forced to step in the vomit and call it normal. In fact, it is being expected to celebrate stepping in the vomit, and if you even think of cleaning it off your shoe, you’re an intolerant bigot.”
you tell them there is gods Law and man’s law. God’s laws are perfect, while many of man’s laws are screwed up. then give a couple examples and your kid will quickly understand the difference, and will learn that liberal laws are oftentimes evil. tell them how man’s law says it’s legal to kill an in utero bab, and see the look of shock on their faces. then tell them how according to God’s law it is vital to protect life.they will get it.
I would tell them that there is good, and evil. I would tell them God intended for one man to marry one woman, and that anything else is evil. I would point out that there are a lot of evil people in the world, and that some of them don’t believe they are evil, but really are, and that those people will try to make them evil also, and that they will have to choose between the Lord and those people.
Thanks...will do.
A kleptomaniac also has to fight their urge to steal as does a pyromaniac have to resist the urge to burn things. To me being attracted to those of the same sex as yourself is just like those type of psychological conditions, many of which are defects from birth and the remaining are the result of some sort of trauma. In the end, the point is they are defective and should be pitied much like someone with down syndrome, but treated fairly and courteously, but at the same time knowing and that their behavior is wrong, but because of being defective they have about as much control over it as someone with tourette's syndrome does over their ability to stop screaming profanities.
Take your kids to a supermarket and into the fruit section. Tell them that even though those fruits are in a grocery store, the only thing they will ever be is produce, no matter what somebody calls them.
