Oregon Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian finalized a preliminary ruling today ordering Aaron and Melissa Klein, the bakers who refused to make a cake for a same-sex wedding, to pay $135,000 in emotional damages to the couple they denied service.
This case is not about a wedding cake or a marriage, Avakian wrote. It is about a businesss refusal to serve someone because of their sexual orientation. Under Oregon law, that is illegal.
In the ruling, Avakian placed an effective gag order on the Kleins, ordering them to cease and desist from speaking publicly about not wanting to bake cakes for same-sex weddings based on their Christian beliefs.
This effectively strips us of all our First Amendment rights, the Kleins, owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa, which has since closed, wrote on their Facebook page. According to the state of Oregon we neither have freedom of religion or freedom of speech.

Please correct title. It should read...

Sorry about that.

Could you correct the title please. I may a hash out of it. Sorry.
I should be past the point of being shocked after six years of Obama, but I’m not. The idea of a judge violating two separate parts of the First Amendment simultaneously. to coerce Americans into working against their will, is both shocking and disgusting. I hope this judge experiences justice on the receiving end (preferably in a Nuremberg-style trial in a real court once freedom is restored), since he is too evil to dispense it from the bench.
Sigh... Now I see why nothing turned up on my title search. I need more coffee...
It is time for some “gate storming.”
The Central Party has passed its edict. Goodbye Bill of Rights.
Here is what these people and others like them need to do:
They are a bakery. They bake and frost cakes.
They need to tell their customers they are a bakery, that’s all they do. If their customers want decorations, they need to consult a cake decorator.
Simple. Done.
Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian...no judge
Fascist Oregon’s Gaystapo.
Next will be closing down churches.
“Next will be closing down churches.”
No doubt.
They did not refuse to serve them because of their perverse sexual orientation. They would have sold them cookies, bread or whatever other baked goods that did not represent homo marriage. The state is lying. Not to mention that the “emotional damage” is such a joke. It is punishment money and nothing less. All the lesbos had to do was go to another bakery. They probably have been celebrating ever since it happened, knowing they could sue for a big payday.
Gays started by saying they just wanted to be left alone.
Then they started to demand equal rights. Next, to redefine the meaning of marriage. But in reality they really crave approval from people who know why God calls homosexuality an “abomination”, and thus a sin. But Christians cannot and will not change what God has decreed: that no person who practices sexual immorality can be granted eternal life.
I say that knowing that there are some people who will read this, and who call themselves “conservative”, but who are living with a member of the opposite sex without being married. This is also a sin, but one that is very easy to fix. #JustGetMarried.
This judge is a tyrant, plain and simple.
If we do not stand up against these lawless overlords, it will not be long before they are carting us off to internment camps all while we ask ourselves, “When should we have fought back?”
Commissioner Brad Avakian should be fired and banned from any future government employment. He is abusing his office and as a government official is violating the Constitution of the United States doing so. This is not a criminal case where it would be compromised or prejudiced. It is blatant government censorship.
“They probably have been celebrating ever since it happened, knowing they could sue for a big payday”.
$135,000 buys a lot of vaseline, strap-on dildos and butt-plugs.
Ah, love, it’s so sweet.
