Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem
The body of writings of Solomon is huge, and not all of it "made it" into the Canon of Scripture. Many Scholars are puzzled by the eroticism of "Song of Solomon" also known as "Song of Songs" or "Canticles". Old Testament Scholars of all faiths try to "spiritualize" Song of Solomon, saying it is an allegory symbolizing the relationship between God and Israel, or between Christ and His Church.
Although Scripture can carry many layers of meaning, and those interpretations can be valid, it seems to me that the plain meaning of this Book is probably the correct one.
Nearly every creature on planet Earth survive and reproduce because of male/female sexual union. Even plants reproduce this way! God has given human beings something extra that makes us especially blessed over the entire rest of creation. It is called LOVE.
In these troubled times, the "enemy of our souls" has chosen to corrupt and destroy that precious gift. As strange as Song of Solomon may seem to the Bible Reader, it's relevance to today's events is astounding.
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
This Symbol Represents Christians in The Middle East, who desperately need our Prayers.
Hallelujah and Amen
