It makes no more sense for Protestants and disbelievers to wish evil on the Catholic Church than it would for Catholics to wish evil on them.

Oh please. Each fervently believes the other is going to hell. But oh no, that's not wishing evil in each other, that's preaching Jesus'doctrine of love to those choosing hell in error.

It's no wonder liberals hate Christians so much in the name of loving everyone - that's where they learned the technique.

Not true. A few sects believe that sort of thing, but it’s pretty rare. The Catholic Church always taught that God gave His grace to virtuous pagans, who did the best they knew how. And of course the Bible indicates that many virtuous Jews went to heaven.

Catholics believe there’s an essential difference between those who break away from the Church for evil or selfish reasons and those who do so because of mistaken beliefs. As a Catholic, I’ve gotten on well and worked with Evangelicals and other Protestants. And I certainly know many Protestants of different kinds who are tolerant of and happy to work with Catholics.

Catholics do not wish ill on anyone, and they do not wish fervently that another religion goes to hell.

I cannot speak for other religions in this regard.

You can SAY anything about the Church. It doesn’t make it true.
