Just to nitpick, I do not believe that there was meconium in Mary’s amniotic fluid. I believe that neither Mary nor Jesus were in any distress whatsoever at the time of His delivery, that baby Jesus was perfect in every way, and that included His health.
Transitional stools? Since this is a Religion thread, I’m self editing any further comments.
"Long before Jesus turned water into wine, He turned Marys amniotic fluid into meconium, and her breast milk into transitional stools. Anyone who has ever changed a childs diaper knows that the resulting odor offends the nostrils greatly."
Anyone who has ever changed a breast-fed child's diaper, knows that breast-fed baby poop does not stink. It's sweet-ish.
Really.
That's because Moms milk digests at a faster rate than formula does.
If you're a milk-mama, you knew that!!
OK, no big deal; carry on.
What Would Jesus Poop??
I’m self editing any further comments? So are you the Pope or Hitler or president oreo? I know you won’t post this but a full diaper of crap someone has.
Except that they didn’t have toilets in 30 A.D.
From personal experience I can tell you that breast milk poo doesn’t smell. The article does, though. I’ll never understand why you want to convert Christians to your flavor of Christianity. I really don’t want to understand your way of thinking either.
If you are going to comment on Catholic teaching then comment on actual Catholic teaching and not straw man inventions that you can easily attack. One of the virtues that all followers of Jesus Christ should have is honesty.
At some point it is due to hate, no?
Cannot access the blog.
This post is patently offensive, and mostly incoherent. No further comment is needed.
Ugly and dishonest, but par-for-the-course for "rocket scientist" Tim Kauffman.
This is an outright lie:
Rome teaches that Jesus death on the cross was not an offering for sin.
For proof, see the following citations from the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
The Word became flesh for us in order to save us by reconciling us with God, who "loved us and sent his Son to be the expiation for our sins": "the Father has sent his Son as the Saviour of the world", and "he was revealed to take away sins" -- Catechism, section 457
The Scriptures had foretold this divine plan of salvation through the putting to death of "the righteous one, my Servant" as a mystery of universal redemption, that is, as the ransom that would free men from the slavery of sin. 397 Citing a confession of faith that he himself had "received", St. Paul professes that "Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures." 398 In particular Jesus' redemptive death fulfils Isaiah's prophecy of the suffering Servant. 399 Indeed Jesus himself explained the meaning of his life and death in the light of God's suffering Servant. 400 After his Resurrection he gave this interpretation of the Scriptures to the disciples at Emmaus, and then to the apostles. -- Catechism, section 601
Justification has been merited for us by the Passion of Christ who offered himself on the cross as a living victim, holy and pleasing to God, and whose blood has become the instrument of atonement for the sins of all men. -- Catechism, section 1992
There are many other examples. Kauffman is a liar.
Another prot bomb thrower.
Yawn.

Of course to ‘removing Jesus,’ he is less popular than the Confederate flag amongst the Left.
Lord, please protect all who read this from being led astray by its blatant and transparent sophistry. Amen
Just curious.... How often do you attack islamists? They’re the more serious enemy than Catholics.
If our Judeo-Christian coalition cannot or will not hold together, than islam will be the result. You can bank on it.
You a Roman Catholic?
Congratulations! You’re living rent-free inside their heads. They’re absolutely obsessed with you.
Of course, I could understand how you might find that a tad creepy ...
It’s staggering how so many Catholics think sex between a husband and wife is dirty and sinful.
Sex was GOD’S idea.
God would not create something, command it, bless it, and then condemn as unclean or somehow dirty the very thing He created for the perpetuation of the human race.
What a twisted view the Catholic church has foisted on people.
