The hits, they just keep on coming. In his Wednesday audience today, Pope Francis called for respect for migrants and stated that those who seek to curb illegal immigration should seek Gods forgiveness. You can try to lambaste the secular site quoted below as being biased, but, just to quell that temptation, I also provide Rome Reports video of his audience that includes the same message.
Pope Francis on Wednesday called for respect for migrants and suggested that people and institutions who close doors to them should seek forgiveness from God.
The popes appeal, made at the end of his weekly general audience, came amid growing debate in Europe on how to deal with an immigrant crisis that has included clashes at the French-Italian borer between police and migrants.
I invite you all to ask forgiveness for the persons and the institutions who close the door to these people who are seeking a family, who are seeking to be protected, he said in unscripted remarks delivered in a somber voice.
France and Austria have stepped up border controls on migrants coming from Italy, turning back hundreds and leaving growing numbers camped out in train stations in Rome and Milan .
The pope said these brothers and sisters of ours are seeking refuge far from their lands, they are seeking a home where they can live without fear.
He asked for prayers that their human dignity always be respected and urged the international community to work together and efficiently to prevent the causes of forced migration.
Who would have thought that the pope would turn out to be a commie?
I guess I feel called to respect all people as children of God.
The world hates the pope until he becomes a communist and targets America.
Street Catholics are struck dumb.
The pope is eating off both sides of his plate and is showing signs of gluttony.
“Its obvious to me now that there was a bloodless coup in the Vatican that overthrew the prior pope and installed this commie.”
I think he’s publicly revealing the wicked spirit that has always been at work.
Didn’t Rome fall from illegal immigration.
Then let the Gypsies and muslims camp out in the Vatican.
You mean “Italistani” authorities, don’t you?
"Those who seek to curb illegal immigration" = "anti-Catholic."
This Pope is taking a hammer to the notion of papal infallibility. He’s more like into papal evil.
This marxist pope should be praying for forgiveness.
Can we dump ALL of our illegals to his doorstep then?
The first Third World pope advocating for Third World people and trying to guilt trip affluent nations.
This Communist vermin has finally come out of the closet. Torquemada would be proud.
When I was a new Christian learning about the faith I was warned about the evils of the RCC. Praise the Lord for that warning.
Ditching Papal infallibility would bring Catholics and Protestants closer to being able to mend their differences.
The Catholic Church and the Catholic Faith are no longer the same thing. As an institution the Church has been infiltrated and corrupted by those who would see it fall.
It sadly seems the Pope, (former?) Vicar of Christ... has completed the firing of Jesus Christ and the hiring of Karl Marx. The Vicar of Marx now speaks!
My wife is RC, and she has no use for this guy. And she goes to church at least once a week. My one friend refuses to go now. He considers Pope Francis to be pure evil, like Obama.
How about a faithful Nun with a poisoned cup of coffee?
A couple of thoughts:
1. Remember just weeks ago... the hundreds of illegals
on a boat -coming to Italy?- the Muslims onboard-
MURDERED THE CHRISTIANS! and through them Overboard!
any “pope” encyclical on that?
2. Any encyclical on Homosexual priests sodomizing
young altar boys- (IN THE CHURCH!)
3.- Wait till the “revised encyclical on the Family”
is released- open to homsexual unions?-
how about “welcoming satanists!”- who knows-
4. very depressing, now I know how ELCA lutherans and
Episcopalians felt - watching their church abandon
God’s Laws- and Not bringing their people to know
Christ-
