This month the Vatican will gather a wide range experts in the field of exorcism with the aim of shedding light on demonic possession from both theological and scientific perspectives.
The annual course, “Exorcism and Prayer of Liberation,” is designed for priests and lay persons interested in learning how to recognize a case of demonic possession when they see one – and what to do about it.
This year's session will run from April 13-18 at Rome's Regina Apostolorum University, and will feature interventions by a wide range of experts in the field of exorcism from priests – including practicing exorcists – medical professionals, psychologists, lawyers, and theologians. It's sponsored by the Vatican Congregation for the Clergy and organized by the Sacerdos Institute.
According to Breitbart News Network, one of the primary objectives of the course will be to help priests and lay people distinguish demonic possession from psychological or medical conditions.
The sessions will also examine a series of other related issues, including occult practices, Satanism, and nihilism among young people.
Pope Francis has frequently warned against thinking of the devil as merely “a myth, a figure, an idea, the idea of evil.”
“The devil exists and we must fight against him,” the Pope said in an Oct. 30 homily, adding that the battle against temptation is not with small, trivial things, but with the principalities and ruling forces of this world, rooted in the devil and his followers.
In a separate homily, the pontiff stressed the importance of knowing how to discern the presence of evil in our lives.
Catholic experts have noted that occult activity and the resulting need for exorcisms has reached a critical level.
The International Association of Exorcists (AIE) met for their 12th annual conference in Rome last October. According to AIE spokesperson Dr. Valter Cascioli, an increasing number of bishops and cardinals asked to participate in the conference due to an increase in demonic activity.
“It's becoming a pastoral emergency,” Cascioli told CNA. “At the moment the number of disturbances of extraordinary demonic activity is on the rise.”
The rise in demonic activity can be attributed to a decreasing faith among individuals, coupled with an increase in curiosity and participation in occult activity such as Ouija boards and seances, Cascioli said.
Wouldn’t be great of 20,000 went out to the White House to perform an exorcism?

Have salt blessed by a priest (we use Himalayan pink course salt as it stays in place better, but any salt will do) and then set it on top of your doorjambs.
Use holy water frequently in your home, remembering to “display” it in a font, as opposed to just keeping the bottle in a closet, etc.
Have candles blessed by a priest and light them from time to time (to clear the air). :)

No. Nothing like this has ever happened to me. Many on this forum know me to be a sensible person, not a fruit cake as you presume to suggest.
Happenings:
A man’s voice, twice, when there is no one there. Three times, a shadow moving across a room and disappearing, one of those times a man’s voice said, “Here” and the shadow disappeared. Twice, seeing my partner in the kitchen while I’m walking toward the kitchen, then he disappears. A box of dog treats not close to the edge of the counter, but it falls off and slides across the floor. Bought items disappear from the pantry and have to buy them again to have any. Pennies, dimes, quarters appear where there was no money there. Pennies are more common. Other occurrences have happened besides these examples.
You can’t say none of that happened, because it did and another penny was found yesterday where there was no money there. Today, a bottle that was in the pantry isn’t there today and neither of us had touched that bottle after putting it in there.

I’d call your pastor and see if he wants to come out and take a look. Also, every diocese has an official exorcist, I think. Your diocese could send him out, perhaps.
If you have any stuff that could be occult, it’s time to give it the heave-ho. Gotten any unusual gifts lately? A friend of a friend (I know— how reliable is that??) had a piece of furniture from Asia, like maybe Nepal. Our parish associate went to their house to investigate their weird goings on, at their request. He identified the occult stuff happening in her house as coming from this object— like it was cursed or something. He told the family to get rid of it if they wanted this to stop. They refused. So nothing improved.

Marcella I believe you.I had stuff happen when I had to make a spiritual decision.It lasted a month.It was recommended that I have a Deacon come over.We prayed together and the same thing had happened to him.He was like me and couldn’t decide.He told me make a decision and it will stop.So I did and the events stopped.We had our daughter’s room covered in fly’s when she came home from school.Three knocks on a door while I was praying and nobody was in the house and scratching my name on wood .It said other stuff.More things happened that I don’t want to post.It all stopped.I will pray.
It's the Catholic Bible that includes that passage about burning fish hearts to chase away demons and keep them away. Why would you then refer to "fruit cake"? It's in the Catholic Bible.
So . . . this Pope is going to start claiming that non-socialists and “climate change deniers” are demon-possessed now?
