In 1914 the Catholic Bishops as a corporate body demanded socialized medicine. Now they and we have it. They don't like it, but unfortunately it's the Catholics in the pews, not the Bishop in the Chancery, who will bear the brunt of it. I find it doesn't really help to say, "We told you so."

Whatever the Bishops demanded, only demented, diabolical, people insist that murdering infants with contraception and abortion is "medicine" or "health care". It's not a case of, "be careful what you pray for", it's a case of Government placing itself above God and therefore the rightful dictator of what individuals can or cannot believe (i.e. establishing a State Religion by another name).
