My King James has the business of divider at Luke 12:14 (you should be more specific about the version you are reading). Anyway, the context was about dividing an inheritance and not the broader conflict you infer. However, in my King James, Matthew 10:34-37: Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. An a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

In the whole of Romans 1, First Corinthians 6, and Matthew 10 I find no reference to homosexuality. Please be more specific about the Biblical prohibitions; I am sure they exist -- but not where you cite them.

Pro-gay activists argue that there is no equivalent word of the Engilsh word homosexual in either Hebrew or Greek. So I use the term same-sex.
