Considering how poorly catechized most Catholics are accused of being, wouldn’t it behoove the church to worry about teaching THEM instead of *teaching* angels, who are not in need of salvation anyway?
What a waste of valuable time while souls are going to hell by the second.....

Protestant bashing is getting pretty old. Citing Scripture is now considered "protestant bashing"?

Why should a church that labels whole books of the Hebrew Bible (on which its claims are ultimately based) as didactic parables and "mythology" even believe in angels in the first place?
This goes especially for the Genesis-hating, evolutionist crazies at "Catholic Answers."

Wasn't Christ made a little lower than the angels? And you think you are better than both?
To: Salvation
No, it is NOT teaching ABOUT angels.
Read the article, especially towards the end where it says......
“Therefore, it must be asserted that the angels are instructed through the church, that is, through the apostolic preaching
in such a way that they are not taught by the apostles, but in them
”

The significance of angels evolves from the earliest Yahwist writings to the New Testament. More than unchanging heavenly beings, angels in the Bible represent the evolution of man's understanding of his relationship with God.
