I’m sorry, I have to disagree. The Ten Commandments were written by the hand Of God. THAT was the basis of the Old Covenant. The Old Testament Ark was built by human hands, to the Lord’s specifications. As an aside, it was also covered by, Gasp!, graven images.

So the law, i.e., the Covenant along with manna was INSIDE the Ark.

Christ was carried INSIDE the womb of Mary. She was/is the Ark of the New Covenant. His body was inside her body.

I don’t think this is so very difficult. Why don’t you try taking on the other points I brought up. You seem to be running away, again, from the issues I discussed. Go ahead. Give it a shot.

Catholicism does not have one shred of Scriptural evidence to support 99% of the dogma, doctrine, teachings, practice, whatever, they have established about Mary, INCLUDING calling HER the Ark.

She gave birth to the Messiah.

That makes her sinless? Perpetually virgin? Able to hear and answer prayer?

What blatant nonsense.

God is no respecter of persons. He called her to give birth to and mother Jesus and she did. She fulfilled her calling by God as any Christian fulfills their calling by God.

That in NO WAY justifies the exaltation of her to the status that Catholicism gives her.

Catholics should focus on Jesus the way they focus on her.

If they gave Jesus half the time and attention and devotion they give to Mary, Catholicism would be not recognizable.

There’s simply no need to elevate any human to the status to which Catholicism and Catholics have elevated Mary.

To GOD be the glory. Not man. Never man.

Creating doctrine and then cherry picking Scripture in a vain bid to support the unscriptural doctrine is a sure path to error.

Catholics need to get off it and get back to the basics of Scripture taht they claim their church wrote WITHOUT reading into it. Simply reading it for what it says, not what they wish it meant, or wish it said, or have been taught it says or means.

INSIDE?

Is that the best analogy you can use?

Mary's LIVER was inside her as well.

Is THAT to be considered holy?

I imagine that after she ate...

Well; no need to go there.

Christ was carried INSIDE the womb of Mary. She was/is the Ark of the New Covenant. His body was inside her body.

And Christ is IN me NOW. FOREVER, not just for nine months.

That makes me, and every other born again, born from above believer the ark as well.

For that matter, ......

1 Corinthians 6:17-20 But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him. Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

Colossians 1:27 To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Christ now lives in the heart of every believer by grace through faith. We have the exact same honor as Mary then in bearing Christ in our bodies.
