No, Jesus is not the Ark. Jesus is the Word of God. The Word of God was placed in the ark. Jesus is *in* the Ark. Just as the Word of God was in the Ark of the Covenant, Jesus was in Mary’s womb. The tabernacles that hold Jesus in Catholic Churches are not Mary. When speaking of Mary as the Ark, Catholics refer to Christ in her womb.
The Tabernacle held the Shekina glory, not the Incarnation, the spirit not the physical body.
So Jesus is properly the *ark* if anyone is because His body is holding the Son, the glory of the Father.
Nor is there ANY reference in Scripture to Mary being the ark.
That *typology* was developed by man, not inspired by the Holy Spirit.
So it was MARY that went before them in battle in ancient times.. and it will be MARY going before Israel in coming battles foretold of by the prophets... And it is MARY who is imbued with the very power of YHWH, striking armies down dead, and it is MARY they will look upon - she whom they have pierced...
How completely and utterly absurd.
