>> “There are conflicts in scripture” <<

To an unbeliever, not led by the spirit, that is so.

>> “You (anyone) must interpret words to comprehend their meaning.” <<

Again, for the unbeliever this may be so, if he is not led in the spirit.

The dark woods from which those words come are devoid of the Holy Spirit. Yehova intends that the People for His Name understand his word. That is why he does not filter it through Nicolaitans. He has prophets that deliver his word to nations, and his Holy Spirit that guides his sheep.

I believe this holds true for the enemy of our soul as well. He knows the wording of the Book of Revelation and of all the books of the prophets...but it's not for him to know the times and the seasons and the Father's exact plan, in place since the foundation of the world. No guidance by the Holy Spirit to enlighten that devil.

Following that logic, anything goes - it does not matter what the words in scripture say. Anyone can claim, or imagine, guidance from the Holy Spirit to do anything. Scripture itself loses all authority, and only (subjective) revelation is valid.
