"She is a god" is not the Catholic belief and you should know that, right? Weren't you Catholic at one point in time?

Not spoken out loud... but do you realize that one born sinless and that never sins would be equal to Christ and therefore a god ... that is what made Christ God and man , that is why He could the innocent sacrificed for the guilty .. If we take The Catholic Mary seriously ..she could have been sacrificed instead of Christ

Have you heard the expression that the worst kind of lie is one that is mixed with truth? So when you say many things about Mary which ARE Catholic beliefs, and then throw something in that is not, it becomes that worst kind of lie of all. Mary is unique, it is true, but She is not divine. Her parents were not divine. She would have no other way in becoming sinless other than to become so through God. She is a beautiful, loving Woman, the most beautiful Woman of all, and She loves you as much as She loves everyone else. Because She is the sinless Mother of God.

Pure speculation on my part, but I think if God could have sacrificed Mary, He would have. My opinion is, that sacrificing Jesus, was the last thing He really wanted to do, but the only other alternative, which He could have done, was to let every mortal person, who has ever lived, spend eternity in Hell. He chose to sacrifice Jesus. It was the only way to redeem the human race.
