Let me put it this way, markomalley. How many employers are responsible for settling lawsuits brought about that involve their employees?

How many employers are responsible for settling lawsuits brought about that involve their employees? I can think of any number of employers who would be responsible. For example:
- If a trucking company knowingly hired a long distance driver with a history of DUI, that trucking company could easily be held liable for a wrongful death lawsuit caused by the driver who was under the influence.
- If a bank knowingly hired an employee with a criminal record of embezzlement, that bank could easily be a party for a lawsuit as the result of the employee
- (I would include any number of examples of the government...particularly schools...but the government has exempted itself from liability through legislation...go figure)
- And, likewise, if a Catholic diocese (or any Protestant diocese / congregation / denomination) knowingly "hires" (ordains) a homosexual into the priesthood (ministry), allows that homosexual to have unescorted and unsupervised contact with teenaged boys, and the homosexual acts as homosexuals will act, then the Catholic diocese should be held liable for those employment decisions. It's called culpable negligence. (Suprise!)
But what in the world does that have to do with a child support case? Your argument is a non-sequitur. You are trying to throw dirt at a wall to see if any of it sticks.
Like I said before, you should attempt to follow the example of those distinguished FReepers I mentioned above. They don't need to resort to that type of thing.
