This Republic's founding document said:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

God, our Creator.

The US Constitution never replaced our Declaration of Independence, rather, it codified it. Every Truth spelled out in the Declaration is an eternal, non-changeable--dare I say unalienable?--truth.

We attack not religious folks as people, but the irrationality inherent in their religion, which is nothing more than hallowed ideology, and therefore is, or should be, as much fair game as, say, socialism.

An internally conflicted statement. To attack a person's religion is to attack the person, and Socialism is never up for discussion to a person whose religion is Socialism.

The inclusion of Ted Cruz is both obligatory for the reasons you posit, and entirely irrelevant to the tripe on offer.

Other than his mention in the title, the only time Ted Cruz’s name appears is in the throwaway mention in the final sentence where his name is placed alongside the word “ayatollah” in a Persian corollary to Godwin’s Law.

All in all, this is nothing but verbose crap not worth the pixels it takes to display.

If Ted Cruz gets the nomination (I pray he does) these leftist crazies will be on the streets looking for trouble.

Anyone riding in their car whom these moonbats even THINK is a Cruz supporter could be cut off, run off the road, surrounded & have their windows smashed by evil people bent on mayhem.

You’re right....he’s not an atheist. He is an ‘anti-theist’, which is an entirely different animal. The atheist says, “There is no God” and leaves it at that. The anti-theist says, “There is no God, and I hate Him!”.

The atheist will, in most cases, just roll their eyes and usually leave the believer alone. The anti-theist will denigrate, defame, and excoriate the believer for their beliefs, and will do everything in their power to tear down, if not completely eradicate, the Christian faith.

In recent times, we’re seeing a switching from atheism to anti-theism. People’s hatred of God, of Jesus, and of His followers is becoming more apparent.

Those of us who read the Book knew it was gonna happen.
