“I’m a woman.” So said Bruce Jenner, during his coming out appearance this past Friday on a special two-hour edition of the ABC News program “20/20.”
And that’s not the only shocking revelation Jenner confided to interviewer Diane Sawyer. “She” also claimed to be a Republican, a conservative and a Christian.
Well, it’s conceivable that Jenner is a Republican. After all, there’s a LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) group that calls itself the Log Cabin Republicans.
It’s also possible that Jenner is a “conservative.” Indeed, there have been any number of conservative lawmakers – including former Idaho Senator Larry Craig, a homosexual, and former Florida congressman Mark Foley – who were outed as homosexuals.
But there’s no way that Jenner, who is “transitioning” from male to female, is a true Christ follower.
Indeed, in his letter to the Church at Corinth, the Apostle Paul advised: “Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.”
Does that mean any and every one of us who has committed any of those aforementioned sins is unsaved; that we have condemned ourselves to “the second death,” as John of Patmos put it, when we appear before the judgment seat of Christ?
No.
Because, the Scripture assures us: “If we confess our sins, He is just and faithful to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness.”
Conversely, “If we say that we have no sin,” as Jenner, the transgender in the making maintains, “we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”
So it matters not if Jenner attends church every Sunday; if he tithes what earns for his upcoming reality show; if he reads his Bible every day; if he prays first thing each morning, and last thing every night.
If he unrepentantly undergoes a sex change, if he refuses to acknowledge that doing so is an abomination in the eyes of God, he will be in open rebellion against his Creator.
That’s why Christ warned us, everyone: “If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.”
What that says is that we are not to surrender ourselves to sin; to deceive ourselves that God will forgive us for our unconfessed, unrepented adultery or financial wrongdoing or substance abuse or acts of violence or twisted sexual orientation.
If Jenner truly was a Christian, he would not blithely embrace transgenderism. No, he would fall on his knees and ask the Lord to free him from Satan’s grip. For greater is He who is in Bruce Jenner – who is in all of us struggling with sin – than he who is in the world.
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified Hebrews 10:14.
He’s still a man in God’s eyes, and no amount of self-deception will change that.
But the left is forcing mental and sex problems to be glorified. I don’t really care what he does but placing children with homosexuals for political reasons was despicable.
It is not treated by amputation, unless you hate your genitals, in which case you are called "transgender" and have your genitals amputated and facsimiles of genitals of the opposite sex constructed in their place.
I do believe Christ “accepts” everyone. That doesn’t mean God sees transgenderism as a plus.
This pushing of trannies in society is realy bad for children, for all society.
The Gospel starts with “Repent”, not “I’m OK & You’re OK”. You cannot follow Christ and rejoice in your sin.
Christians struggle with sinful desires, and regularly sin...but they do not promote sin and say sin is good. You cannot deny God’s Word and follow God. You cannot call God a liar and still claim you are following God. You cannot be forgiven if you refuse to ask for forgiveness, and claim instead that you have done nothing wrong.
But I cannot speak for God.
I will say that I once knew a pharmacist who stole cocaine (on a regular basis) from the hospital where he worked. Some of this cocaine he used himself, and some he traded with prostitutes for some very strange sexual activity.
He was convinced that he was guaranteed a spot in heaven because as a child he had said, "I believe in Jesus". After that? He felt he could do anything he wanted. Didn't matter. He could not really commit a sin in the eyes of the Lord, because he was a Christian.
Personally, I thought the guy was whacked.
If God had meant for him to be female, God would have made him that way.
What a shame this delusion is not being treated. This guy needs serious help.

Paul wasn’t Christ.
“If Bruce has received Jesus Christ, he’s a Christian.”
You cannot “receive Jesus Christ” and deny God’s Word. Jesus told people to go and sin no more, not to rejoice in their sins and promote sin to others.
Jesus does not “accept” us. If He did, we would have no reason to change. God hates sin. God will punish sin. Until someone knows that, they have no reason to ask for forgiveness. You cannot be a “believer” while denying what God has revealed.
Sorry Bruce but your nothing more than a very disturbed mutilated man. You will never be a woman, it’s not possible to change ones gender.

Well put. By definition, Bruce’s gender problems are an abnormality. He does seem to be pretty good guy or gal in other areas. It’s not for us to judge.
His recent accident is going to cost him untold millions. He will be more present, more overt and more outrageous in the story he has to sell off to media for the mindless public. It is now all about money - not his personal desires or faults IMO.

Bottom line, he’s hyping his version of reality show, and knows this “ next frontier” will yield $$$$ for him/networks .

What a joke. These are really $hitty people.
In what way?
Just my view, but God always views you as the same gender, or a eunuch, as sometimes occurs naturally from complications. But you cannot change what you are in his eyes, you can just kick the barbed wire, but that doesn’t hurt God.
Given possible mental illness I have no idea the degree to which God will hold him culpable but there aiders and abetters all around him have no excuse.
