Because they do not study God's word, know God's word, or rightly divide God's word, when Satan comes along with his clever :"yea, did God say.." they fall right into his trap. They wrote the bible as we know it today and for 1,600 years Catholics were the only game in town....then along came the churches of what's happening now to "set things straight"

The United States Supreme Court may soon liberate the biblically conservative church from old "prejudices" that should have long ago been "jettisoned," forcing it into "rightly bowing to the enlightenments of modernity," in the words of a recent writer in The New York Times.

Apparently one of the "enlightenments of modernity" is the romanticizing and championing of the primitive religions of "indigenous pipples." Goodness knows, they seem to be on the same side of the political spectrum and I've never heard them go after each other. And where would the militant "indigenous" rights people be without the vocabulary of nineteenth century European materialism to endlessly parrot? All in the name of their ancient and untainted ancestors, of course.

Maybe the "enlightened" liberals will help the Aztecs rebuild their "temple."

Yeah...I love do it yourself biblical interpretation...you do it one way, the guy across the street does it another way...then there are the Lutherans, Methodists, Evangelicals, Baptists, everyone seems to have their own idea of where the Catholics went wrong after 16 centuries...

with all those solutions, how come that there is no consensus of opinion as to what is right....everyone can't be....and the Catholic church is the only authorized Biblical authority on Earth....but do it your own way seems to be popular these days.....sad.
