I’ve read a biography of St. Padre Pio and am still working on the autobiography of St. Theresa of Avila.
Have not read up on the other two.
Comments anyone?
yeah, but how did they overcome despair? What If someone is looking at a serious, likely slowly deteriorating condition and is scared, mad and feels alone? What if God forgot about them?
Beautiful saintly line-up, Salvation. Here’s a site that one could spend hours on reading about Gemma Galgani:

Good. Please tell us of your travels, with the Saints.
Jesus said to overcome evil with good.
Here is a beautiful video [high quality] of Padre Pio’s final days and Mass: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgbVHbPArTs.
As an aside, we have a parish nearby that has a crypt filled with saint relics. I have a photograph somewhere, but in a special little cabinet (under lock and key), they had beard hairs of Padre Pio, and the caretaker took them out and blessed me with them. Very cool. He suffered so much with the stigmata and also assaults from the devil and for strength He recited the rosary all day long. Literally all day long; I think you had mentioned that in one of your previous posts, Salvation. He also was given the gift of bilocation. Can you imagine?
I copied the closing prayer for myself. Thanks for posting this.
