Excepting really fringe stuff (i.e. Jack Chick) I can’t remember any anti-Catholic attack posts getting pulled. And for the record, this is not intended as a polemical attack post. It is a fairly sober and scholarly critique. Critical to be sure. But not in any way on the same level as a lot of the stuff I see being routinely posted that accuse the Romans of being a pseudo-Christian cult.

Soberly and scholarly??? I think not...Why no mention of ALL of the forgeries of your so called scholarly works your religion pushes onto willfully ignorant Catholics who are marching onward thru the fog??? Just as this article does...

But this is all it amounts to...Blind faith...

In short, accusations of “begging the question” will fall on deaf ears. The Church—as it has been historically expressed and understood in the Nicene Creed—is an object of faith. In this sense, belief in the Church is no different than belief in God. The Church as an infallible “pillar and ground of the Truth” cannot be proven empirically. We are simply to believe in it.
