The OCs existed long before the catacombs...The catacombs existed during the time of Peter and Paul. They were used for the burial of Jews, among which the Romans included members of the Jewish sect called "Christians".

TO my knowledge, Christians were not underground in the catacombs having church services during the days of Peter and Paul... do you have evidence to demonstrate this historically? If so, I’d like to know.
